Note: This Cancellation Policy applies in the absence of a separate written agreement. In the event that Devalok and a client have executed a contract containing its own cancellation or termination clause, that contractual clause shall supersede this policy.

At Devalok, every partnership is built on trust, respect, and mutual understanding. We value the relationships we build as much as the work we create together. While we hope every collaboration continues to evolve and grow, we understand that plans can change. This policy ensures that even if our journey together comes to a close, it does so with the same respect and professionalism with which it began.
Our Philosophy
We believe good partnerships are grounded in empathy and transparency. If you ever decide to cancel or conclude a project with us, we want the process to be simple and without penalty. Our approach is driven by these key principles:
No Cancellation Fees: We do not charge any cancellation or termination fees.
Transparency: Every stage of the process is documented and communicated clearly.
Mutual Respect: Whether we continue or part ways, we do so with gratitude and professionalism.
Flexibility: We understand that priorities evolve, and we’re here to make transitions as smooth as possible.
When This Policy Applies
This policy applies if:
The client decides to discontinue a project due to a change in business goals, timelines, or internal priorities.
External circumstances such as funding, leadership, or market shifts prevent the project from continuing.
Either party identifies a clear misalignment in working relationship, expectations, or creative direction that affects progress.
If a project is cancelled after work has begun, Devalok will invoice for all work approved and shared with you up to that stage.
If the client wishes to retain or use any of the completed work after cancellation, the client must pay for that specific portion of work in full. Any balance amount from unused, unapproved or unbilled work will be refunded accordingly.
This ensures clarity, fairness, and respect for the time, effort, and creative ownership involved on both sides.
General Cancellation Terms
All cancellations must be submitted in writing or through our official communication channels. (Verbal or informal messages will not be considered valid requests.)
The date and time of cancellation will be determined by when Devalok receives written confirmation.
We kindly request that you inform us as soon as possible once the decision is made. This helps us manage our internal resources efficiently and ensures a smooth transition for both teams.
There are no financial penalties or cancellation fees under any circumstances.
How to Cancel
You can cancel a service or ongoing engagement through either of the following:
Email: Send an email to operations@devalok.com.
Once your request is received, our team will acknowledge it in writing and assist with any next steps, such as sharing final files, archiving documents, or closing project records.
